With my consultancy experience I can assimilate quickly to and be productive and make a positive contribution in, a new environment in organisations in various industries including education, local government, retail and tourism with a particular expertise in arts marketing.

I have 30 years experience in journalism (print and broadcast), marketing, media and event management and writing including:-

* Communications Officer – new position Regional Arts Board Albury Wodonga (Now Murray Arts);

* Official opening Albury Base Hospital and organisation of public open day – 1994;

* Main Street Coordinator 1992-1993 – repositioning and promotion of traditional shopping precincts in Albury;

* Senior journalist newsroom Prime Albury;

* Freelance journalist and presenter – ABC Radio Albury and Wodonga

* Highly Commended – Thorn EMI Awards for Television News – 1984

  •  Ability to prioritise and manage a number of tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines especially under pressure;
  • Flexible approach to working hours and do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done.  Able to relocate of necessary;
  • Passionate about the arts with a lifelong involvement in writing, music (singing and piano), theatre –  audience and performer, and published writer – Black Dog Books, Short and Scary (2010); 4W anthologies – 2003, 2006, 2009; Contributing author, “Murray Time”; New Albury Writing (2003); self published collection of short stories, “The Basket and the Brief case” (2003) plus writer of columns and essays.
