I’ve enjoyed a career spanning 40 years in media, marketing and communications working across newspapers, television and radio as well as two stints with the Australian Olympic Team as a senior media officer in Sydney 2000 and Athens, 2004, and the joy of coordinating three Write around the Murray Festivals. From July 2010 – December 2012 I wrote a fortnightly column for The Border Mail in Albury, NSW, Australia. Publications include The Only Constant (2012) and The Basket and The Briefcase (2003) and was selected to write a chapter for the progressive illustrated novel, Murray Time, Letao Press (2003) http://bit.ly/lWLDYx

Hi, I have found you quite by accident but fascinated to find another Robyne with an e. You sound a very clever lady and it has been interesting to read a couple of your blogs. There seem to be a few of us around, with the “e” , but not very many. I am actually from Brisbane, am 64 years old, retired. and while not having had the interesting life you seem to have, it has, nevertheless been eventful and often creative. Hello Robyne, My apologies for my delay in responding. I do know two Robynes with the ‘e’ here in Albury. I have the ‘e’ because when my father registered my birth he decided that’s how it should be spelt. I’m sure it has shaped the way I am! Thank you for taking the time to read some of the posts and also for taking the time to comment. Coincidentally Brisbane gets a mention in my latest collection of stories, “The Only Constant”.
